The ₹1–2.5 lakh range is an initial planning guide, not a fixed all-inclusive maximum. A written quote must specify the treatment stages covered and which charges are included, separate or dependent on clinical findings. PGT is not automatically included.
IVF cost depends on testing, medicine dose, monitoring, egg retrieval, anaesthesia, fertilisation method, embryo culture and the transfer plan. One person may need conventional IVF and a fresh transfer; another may have a medical reason for ICSI, freezing or a later frozen transfer.
A lower headline may exclude medicines, scans, anaesthesia, embryo freezing, annual storage or transfer. Compare written estimates category by category and ask what happens if the cycle is cancelled, no egg is retrieved or transfer is postponed.

No. ₹1–2.5 lakh is an indicative planning range, not a fixed quote for every patient. Confirm the treatment stages, medicines, tests, laboratory work, storage, transfer and any additional procedures in writing. Final cost depends on assessment and the agreed treatment plan.
Is PGT included in this IVF range?
Do not assume so. Genetic testing requires a separate itemised estimate covering the testing type, embryo count, biopsy, laboratory charges and any freezing or transfer costs.
Can the clinic give an exact IVF cost before assessment?
A broad component guide may be possible, but an exact meaningful estimate needs the proposed protocol and relevant reports. Medicine and laboratory needs vary.
Does paying for a package improve success?
A payment package does not change biology or ensure pregnancy. Understand the clinical plan, inclusions, exclusions and terms independently of any package.
Are add-ons required in every IVF cycle?
No. An add-on should have a specific reason, evidence discussion, limitations and separate consent and cost information.
